Beech Mountain Community Center
Mission Statement
Our mission is to serve the needs of the people of Old Beech Mountain and foster community involvement, and offer our volunteers an opportunity to serve and to enhance their skills. We resolve to preserve this historic building as a central part of the community in which it is located.
Cyclone Celebration Tuesday, October 21st, from 4 pm to 6 pm
Come celebrate Dewey Brett (AKA Cyclone) and say goodbye before he moves out of state!
Cyclone, has been the honorary Santa Claus at the annual Beech Mountain Community Center Christmas celebration for many years
We will have cake and ice cream, punch , finger foods and gifts for him Tuesday, October 21st, from 4 pm to 6 pm. Please come by and give him a hug, a hand shake, drop off a card, or a gift and / or a thank you for his commitment to our community.
We are also asking former students whom he read to here at the school to write cards. We would love to have 300 or more cards for him.

Fish Fry
Friday, October 24th 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Come out and enjoy the Beech Mountain Fish Fry. With home made deserts, flounder fried to perfection, choice of potatoes, coleslaw, baked beans and Hush Puppies! Or Chicken if you do not like fish.
$12.00 for fish or chicken and all the fixings.
Children 12 and Under eat for Free!

Honoring Our Community's Veterans in November
Saturday, November 8th 11:30 AM
A luncheon to honor our Veterans will be held at the Beech Mountain Community Center.
The event is open to all Veterans and their Spouses in the Beech Mountain Community and our Seniors over 55 years old.

Wine to Water supporting North Carolina after Helene
If your well or spring was flooded eight months ago it could have been contaminated.
Wine to Water is a not for profit organization that is providing WNC water quality testing.
